The spa’s address is Peaceful Lane, how cute is that? And appropriate too, as it is set in very pretty, quiet countryside. This is not a fancy spa by any stretch of the imagination. The style is very homey and unpretentious but there is just something about the place that is reassuringly grounding and l really like it.

It’s been run by the Harvey family for more than 20 years and they are genuinely committed to the “wellness” concept so there are no gimmicks, just effective, natural therapies. They only take a handful of guests at a time so your break can definitely be personalised and tailored to your requirements. It’s all veggie food, there’s no alcohol or smoking or  TVs or phones or newspapers. In other words, it is all a bit hippy-ish.

I wouldn’t come here for pampering but I would recommend it if you’re after some sincere holistic TLC.
